Brave teen tells her abortion story

So often I hear people in support of abortion talk about the subject as if it is as simple as reciting the alphabet. The issue about legalising abortion is becoming more prominent in society and I worry that people are losing perspective on the real side effects of such a life-changing decision.

Here is the story of a 15-year-old girl who fell pregnant and had no one to talk to. She had an abortion and over a year later, now the mother of a healthy baby boy, she shares her experience with the world on YouTube in the hope of helping people understand the journey she has gone through.

No matter what your personal belief is about abortion and putting religion aside, I think it is an important story to listen to and think about. Sometimes we love to hate social media, but this is a genuine example of the positive way people can communicate with others across the world and find support networks that can truly help people.
